MyBee

Problem

Beekeepers are often faced with the need to monitor environmental conditions in their hives, such as temperature, humidity or weight. The lack of real-time access to this data means that it is not possible to react immediately to sudden changes. Additionally, traditional methods of monitoring hive conditions are cumbersome and time-consuming, which can limit the efficiency of the beekeeper.

Target

To create a solution through which the beekeeper can have real-time data.

Solution

MyBee consists of a set of sensors installed inside the hive, a microcomputer that collects data and communicates with a server via SMS, a server that processes the data and a mobile and browser application. With the MyBee system, the beekeeper receives real-time information on weight, temperature and humidity in the hive.
